Snow Clearing Details

Snow can come at any time of day and can fall lightly or fast and heavy, we have details here on what you can expect in certain situations. Snow clearing trigger levels are usually 1" for sidewalks and 1" for parking lots unless noted otherwise in your contract. Higher trigger levels equal more ice for you the customer and higher chances of injury to your staff and customers. Our objective is to have all business cleared by the agreed upon time if stated in your contract. Generally, If the trigger level is not hit by 11pm then a service may not be possible the night of the storm depending on (1) The time it hits (2) The amount of snow and (3) The business opening hours. In this situation service will be the following night if the parking lot is full during the day or within 6 hours of the storm ending if your parking lot can be serviced at anytime time. By default, Snow will be piled onsite always the night of the storm and relocation of piles onsite or trucking of piles off site are completed in the following days unless your contract states something different.
